Product Description
This complete kit has been specifically designed
for use in a boat. It includes the new Wilson
301130 dual band Marine antenna (exterior), the
new Wilson 801245 50 dB dual band cellular
amplifier, cabling and your choice of a directional
dual band panel antenna or a dual band
omni-directional dome antenna for the interior
antenna.
The PowerfulSignal Mariner Kit is compatible with
all North American 800MHz and 1900 MHz cellular
carriers except Nextel/iDEN. This cellular kit
improves both voice and data cellular
communications in your vessel's cabin area. The
dual band 50/50 dB amplifier unit is primarily
designed for single room installations.
This kit comes with your choice of interior antennas,
an omni-directional dome antenna designed to be
mounted on a ceiling or a directional panel antenna
designed to be mounted on a wall.
Two 20' white LMR240 coax cables are provided to
connect from the amplifier to the inside and outside
antennas. The amplifier needs to be placed near a
wall plug for power or power needs to be brought to
it with a power extension cord. The amplifier
comes with an AC power supply, but a 12v DC
power supply is available (sold separately).
Note: The inside and outside antennas should be
separated about 20'. This may vary depending
upon signal strength, obstacles and the use of a
directional antenna. This is to prevent the two
antennas from oscillating.
If you find your needing long cable runs then you
may want to look at using low loss LMR400 coax.
Mounting: The Wilson 301130 marine antenna
uses a standard 1" x 14 thread mount. This mount
is not included in the kit.
