The PowerfulSignal Wireless Desktop Kit (Wilson 801201) amplifies and boosts cell signals
and has been configured for personnel desktop use. This kit is ideal for home, apartment,
condo, RV's and motorhomes. This kit comes with the components offered in the Wireless
Traveler along with additional desktop components. This wireless kit may also be used at your
desk or in a vehicle. The dual band wireless amplifier works with all 800/1900MHz carriers
except Nextel/iDEN.

Product Description
This kit has been specifically designed for
personnel desktop use. The Wilson 801201
wireless cellular amplifier repeater enhances your
cell signal about 2-3 feet (radius) depending upon
the strength of the outside signal. Cable is
supplied with the kit to cover a distance of
approximately 20 feet from the exterior antenna to
the interior antenna. Interior and exterior antennas
should be separated about 5-10 feet to avoid
oscillation between the antennas. See the
installation guide.
The Desktop Kit is compatible with all US 800MHz
and 1900 MHz cellular carriers except Nextel/iDEN.
This cellular kit improves both voice and data
cellular communications on you desktop in your
home, office, RV or motorhome.
For Vehicle Use
The 12" magnet mount antenna is placed on the
roof of the vehicle and connected to the amplifier
with 10' of coax. The amplifier is usually place
under the front passenger seat. A 12 volt car
adapter powers the amplifier. The Low Profile
antenna attaches via Velcro to the headrest or side
of the front seat and is used to broadcast cell signal
inside to the front seat occupants.
For Desktop Use
The 12" antenna comes with 10' of RG-174 cable.
This antenna is mounted on the inside of a nearby
window using the supplied window mount. The
antenna connects directly into the 801201 amplifier.
The desktop antenna is used on the desktop to
broadcast signal. It comes with 5 ' of RG-174 cable
that connect directly into the 801201 amplifier.
The combination of cable supplied with the
antennas equals about 15'. It is recommended that
only one 5' extension is added to this if necessary.
The Wilson 951101 5' extension cable (below) can
be used to extend an additional 5 feet. This cable
has compatible connectors to fit on either side of
the amplifier.
Coverage Area
The PowerfulSignal Desktop/Vehicle Kit is
designed specifically to amplify the cell signal on
your desktop without any physical connection. It is
not designed to supply cell signal to your entire
room or office. Other kits are offered that will solve
this problem. Broadcast distance ranges from 1-3
ft radius depending upon signal strength at the
receiving antenna.
