The PowerfulSignal dual band SOHO Quick Kit (Wilson
811245) amplifies and boosts cell signals and has been
configured for quick and easy setup in a room, office or shop.  
This kit is also ideal for RV's and motorhomes.  The dual
band 50 dB (both 800 & 1900 MHz frequencies) wireless
amplifier works with US and Canadian cell phones, data
cards and carriers except Nextel/iDEN.  It is designed to cover
the greater part of room.

Product Description
This kit has been specifically designed for quick
and easy setup.  No drilling or cutting.  The Wilson
801245 SOHO Quick Kit is compatible with
ALL US
800MHz and 1900 MHz cellular carriers except
Nextel/iDEN.  This cellular kit improves both voice
and data cellular communications for a room in
your home, office, RV or motorhome.  The dual
band 50/50 dB amplifier unit is primarily designed
for room size installations.

Two antennas; desktop and 12" Magnet Mount are
supplied with the kit.  The 12" tuned dual band
antenna fits on the inside window antenna mount to
gather signal from the outside through the window
area.  The desktop antenna sets on a table, desk,
shelf to broadcast the cell signal throughout the
room.  Each antenna is connected to the SOHO
amplifier.

The desktop antenna has 5' of coax and the 12"
magnet mount has 10' of coax.  An additional 20' or
40' white LMR240 coax extensions cable comes
with the kit.  The extension coax can be used
between either of the antennas and the amplifier.  
Excess coax length creates signal loss and is not
desirable, but be sure to give yourself enough coax
to do the job.  The SOHO amplifier needs to be
placed near a wall plug or power needs to be
brought to it with a power extension cord.

If you find yourself needing longer lengths of coax to
place your antennas then you may want to consider
the SOHO Max kit that uses 9913 low loss coax
cable.  
Coax Cables.

Important: Usable signal (1-2 bars) is required at
the window where you attach the antenna.  The two
antennas should be separated (line of site) about
20'.  This distance can vary depending upon signal
strength and obstacles.  This is to prevent
oscillation between the antennas.  This kit is
designed to gather outside cell signals from a
widow.  If you do not have any signal at your window
you should consider one of the other SOHO kits that
use roof mount antennas.  The system is designed
to give you usable cell signal to make calls, not 5
bars through out the room.

Antenna Information
It is important to mount both antennas vertically.  
They are polarized for vertical use and should not
be mounted in a horizontal position.
