Product Description
The Command Post Kit is designed to be
implemented into your new or existing mobile or
stationary command centers. The system provides
stronger, higher quality cell signals simultaneously
for both cell phones and notebook data cards. No
physical connection is required to any cellular
device. Using external and internal dual band
cellular antennas and the Wilson 801245 50dB
cellular amplifier, the system broadcasts an
amplified cell signal throughout your command
post work area. Critical path cellular
communications can be maintained easier and
longer in both metropolitan and rural areas.
Testing has proven that stronger cell signals
improve 3G data throughput rates in notebook data
cards and cellular WiFi routers. Faster throughput
rates equate to quicker response times for cellular
communications equipment.
The Command Post Kit is a dual band system that
works with both 800 and 1900 MHz frequencies.
This allows any cell phone or data card to be used
with any carrier in North America except
Nextel/iDEN.
Note: The inside and outside antennas should be
separated about 20'. This may vary depending on
your outside signal strength and inside obstacles.
Separation is used to prevent the two antennas
from oscillating.
